It would have to be better than factory at that...

It would have to be better than factory at that price. All the panels bolt on and off so its not like there is major bodywork to do if a panel needs replacing.

If you mean the bits the sit under the panels then use dinitrol spray wax as mentioned. It comes with a long straw and comes out really thin so runs into seams and box sections like the sills, then...

I'll admit my car does have a few parts removed as I restore the engine bay but I'm sure the PAS loop pipe just comes out of the gap at the front of the car between the bumper and fan shroud?

Didn't someone try this on the forum? I would be tempted to use some kind of paint stripper to prevent scratching the metal, then polish up with a flapper on a drill with some G10 type stuff.
