  • Wanted - S50 Oil Sump

Had the car in yesterday for an oil change and the mechanic pointed out some damage to the oil sump that looks to have happened some years ago. BMW are looking for £504 for a new one but I’m happy to use a good condition used one if anyone has one the would like to sell.

Been looking online and this one seems to be the correct part number,

            https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E36-3...pid=1009522270

            Real oem part info

            https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=11_1486

My question to the experts out there is does it look ok? I was planning on having it chemical dipped to get it as new again but I really have very little experience with oil sumps and don’t know if it’s a good one. Any advice would be much appreciated

Not the correct part I'm afraid, looks like the standard 3 series or US S52 pan

                    Bump!

If nobody has one to sell I’ll order a new one from BMW on Wednesday.
