I thought the first episode was excellent. Despite missing Ed, Ant has brought a fresh approach.

I really thought I wouldn't like the programme without Edd but it appeared to be very similar to the previous format with most time spent on the mechanicals

(which I thought they were moving away from?) other than a few odd facial expressions from Ant it was very watchable

I've actually just watched this first episode which I recorded on my TiVo. Really enjoyed it, pleased to see the amount of the workshop element was maintained. In fact I thought Ant enhanced the workshop part with his development of the 3rd wing, turbo rebuild & fixing oil leak. Ant's explanations of technical issues were very clear and the masterstroke of getting the designer of the Escort Cossie on the show topped it off for me.

I enjoy watching Brewer, hes pretty funny but there costings are really off the mark.

That last episode suggests that Ant only spent 50 man hours on that Saab

Yes a lot of work on the Saab - interesting seeing them use the Impala glass

Just watched the recording of the first episode, very good work done by Ant on the bumpers. Car looked quite impressive at the end.
The plastic sun roof parts that were re-manufactured by 3D printing reminded me of the roof rail plastic end pieces that Roger (rsk289) had sent from the States which ended up costing me only £16 a pair including postage. Definitely the way to go for some obsolete plastic parts.

I like wheeler dealers but his price break downs annoy me!

Didn't think much of last nights golf or rabbit as the Americans know it, seamed to be very little work going on even though they did a full make over including paint and interior also someone should tell Mike to stop saying "flavour" or is he turning into Xzibit

Interesting to see the Corvette seats suffer from a near identical problem to z3's

Interesting article regarding cars bought and sold over the years on WD,

Yes very interesting. I enjoy watching it, quite informative, but no realistic account seems to be taken of their time and resources used when calculating the project’s cost. Ed does make restoration look very easy, wish it was.

I remember seeing the Fiat Dino on Autotrader a while back, here’s a link to the PistonHeads article/add.

I miss having Ed China on the TV. I’ve not watched the later series with Ant but I couldn’t take to him on the other show he did.

Ant is actually pretty good in the later episodes of WD but cant really get exited about a make over on some US car I have never seen (Chevy Luv?) or heard of. They sold the Fiat dino for £15500 according to the above article.
