Thanks
More progress today on my "holiday" week off from work.
I started applying the Underseal using a Schutz gun. Put the full hazmat suit mask and goggles on just in case! Masking it was pretty fiddly too.
Pleased with the results, It's much better than just using a rattle can and I think looks relatively oem in colour and texture.
As with all of the paints I tested it first on the sections of floor that have been removed, very handy!

Maybe I shouldn't have coated the diff ear too, but gave it just a light coat, it was fairly unavoidable and then it is all coated the same.
Also touched up some other areas like the spring pans which were rubbed back and painted, have new rubber caps to go on them. I had to re apply a bead of seal sealer to where the two halves of the spring pan meet before painting.
Also the subframe mounting screw area, all rubbed down, de rusted, primed and top coated. This worked quite well as Reddish motorsport have only just done the sills and sprayed the edges of them, obviously they couldn't get in this corner without the subframe out.

Then finally a top coat and laquer in the boot:

The first Estoril 335 spray can I ordered wasn't the best match so I had to get some from another supplier which was a better match and also applied much better. Again worked well testing it on a couple of the floor offcuts.
I'm planning on fitting Dynmat Extreme Sound Deadening over the boot floor, this should work well and will also be a damn sight easier for someone else to remove than the horrible bitumen pads.
It's coming together! Can't wait to get back to the mechanicals now!
