  • Replacing rear side windows

Has anyone done this? looking at the pictures of Ian's car being re sprayed you can leave the interior trim in place?

Do you really need to remove rear windows for a paintjob?

I think most of people unscrew the rear panels and paint the off the car?

They have taken the rear windows out on my car, plus rear hatch window as some specific work had to be done on that.

I think the trim is still in place, I can check tomorrow when I next go in to get update on progress.

Pictures appear to show trim still in place.

Does look like the inside of the car gets left alone

As it's bonded it probably just is a case of cutting it out, and to replace it would be a real pain for glazing companies if the trim had to be removed as we all know the Coupe trim was designed so that everything up to the headunit needs removign to take out some boot trim
