In my opinion a car that is 15-20 years old most likely has had some paintwork. It could be scratch/small dent that's repaired or maybe even something a bit bigger. Being this old and having a paint refresh should not put people off. The weather in the U.K is very temperamental so that also has a bearing on paint work not being original. Some rust in the sunroof panel does not mean a car has been repaired. Moisture can get in and over a period of 15-20 years it's normal. of a car is topped it wouldn't just be the sunroof panel that is rusting. Could you imagine what would need to be refrabricated if one of these was toppled- it would most probably be unrepairable. Be realistic - they are not brand new cars! I've had a lot of different cars and almost all have had some correction to the paintwork/bodywork at some point. If the job is superb then it doesn't take much away from a car of this age.

I don't understand if someone is going to respray most of a car to get a fresh look, it would just be common sense to respray the roof. Leaving the roof out and respraying the rest of the car just sounds illogical!

Regarding the 4000rpm statement, perhaps the seller means that it was never taken over 4000rpm before the oil was properly warmed? It's easy to get sidetracked when writing lengthy adverts.

I thought that, but apparently not:

It's highly likely it's a lie though. That's not to say it hasn't been babied but "never" going above 4000rpm? even in regular driving you might do that in lower gears like 2nd or 3rd ocassionally.

BIN £47K, these prices are now silly. That said, good work if you can get it.

Thankfully, mileage is not an issue for me. I have arrived at the moon and will shortly commence the return journey.

                            Not..

Didn't sell. Lots of time wasters on Ebay who bid but don't buy. this is the third time now and getting a bit bored of it. Will hang onto her for a bit longer I feel.

33 bids to £32,100.00 and no sale? Most odd.
