Engine bay, boot, interior, at the very least. Are you still having probs with pics?
It won't let me upload anymore , have tried multiple times as I should be able to put 12, I put in add that if people log into spiderve . Com detailers website there is at least 40 photos of all aspects of the car both pre detail and after. Will message admin at pistonheads and see if I can sort upload problem
    Thanks for input

The market hasn't died. Your car is a Beauty and I would consider it if I was after one right now. Although subjective, I think silver isn't as desirable as some of the other colours that are up. Can't think of any other reason.

Once again I'm going to drop the price of the car one final time before I re think the whole situation. These cars are really only worth what someoneone is willing to pay . Mine is honest with sensible miles , 10 months mot. There are plenty of photos on spiderve.com. I'm willing to let anyone have an inspection done.

I hope you don't mind me saying but hope the following advert critique will help.

It's not a great advert to be honest.

Firstly it doesn't sell the virtues of the car and the pics are poor.

The advert text - You really need to highlight the positives.

          - Without mentioning all the paint work and previous rust etc; just state that the paint is in amazing condition (assuming it is following the respray) with no rust, stonechips or parking dents.

          - The pictures. I know you have had problems uploading but when I looked at the pics on the detailers site then the first thing a potential buyer would conclude was that it was a little neglected, dirty and unloved. Dirty engine bay shots and all the other stuff is not going to help convince anyone that it's a cherised car worth paying over £20k for.
You need to take some nice scenic shots at good angles and get them uploaded.

I'd drop the current advert and take out a fresh one

Another thing - the first couple of lines states 10 owners. It's a relatively high number and to find that out before getting chance to read how great the car is will just have people discounting it. Then as mentioned all the dirty car pics will be the next level at which people switch off from the advert.

You need to talk about the condition, the servicing any any preventative work done.

You need to tell all prospective customers that it's a solid, sorted car in fab condition without going in to too much gory detail.

Once the phone starts ringing then people can ask questions and you can answer - until now people will just be assuming it's just a hum drum coupe. You need to make it hook people in and tell them all they want to hear

I agree with the above(especially about prioritising the good details upfront).

Having to look elsewhere for the photo's doesn't really feel right and combined with the pics kinda makes it look a bit like a trade deal pretending to be private.

Car looks great to me mind so despite all that's been said, I'm surprised you haven't had any takers so far.

I think the ad has run out now so will re-do
I can honestly say that you will not find a nicer example at the money I am asking or indeed I don't think you would find anything better at 25000 but all your comments are valid so will see how it goes for a few more weeks .

                Nail on the head Matt.

Invest half a day of your time and you could return the £25k you initially set out for.

                Good luck!

Ad looks a lot better and pricing very competitive. I'd be surprised if it doesn't sell soon.

                        Looks great and fab value

Not one phone call from new ad . Maybe there is still something wrong? The car is a great car , sencible miles and would say is well priced plus I'm open to offers, if someone has the funds to move quick then they could this at a very good price but it won't be given away.

As the advert is ok now then there are two other things...

1 - Advertising platform to reach to maximum number of potential buyers.

Maybe try car and classic and also autotrader

2 - The price. Assuming people looking for one of these are viewing your advert then there is something stopping them picking up the phone. As other bases are covered then it's the price.

It's a higher than desired mileage (low for the year I agree) and it's had a higher than desired number of owners.

As it's a specialist car that will appeal to enthusiasts and potential traders then assuming they have the funds to buy they tend to seek out their ideal car.

You could try reducing the price - anything will sell if the price is right

I think the average income buyer is like the rest of the country at the moment and sitting on their hands. A lot of the 'expensive' cars with very low miles appeal to the collector types and do tend to sell.

As yours doesn't fall into that bracket then you are aiming at the average enthusiast and price will be a big factor.

If you don't need to sell right now then you could hold on until next year. If you have to sell or want to sell then you might need to re adjust the price that you will accept

Hope that helps. Looks a great buy for someone to enjoy
