OK, so since I had my clutch hose replaced I have noticed a slipping clutch. When I change down to 3rd or 4th and push the car, the revs will increase very quickly and the car won't accelerate.
Biting point feels normal and the clutch pedal is very heavy (what I expect is normal, I haven't driven another one to compare)
The car has done 108,000 miles and I don't think its ever had a new clutch fitted.
Is it something to do with the hose swap or is it just a coincidence? Or do I need a new clutch?
And if i'm going to have a new clutch fitted, is it worth having the clutch slave/master cylinder rebuilt/replaced at the same time?
