  • Wanted: bottom seat cover

    Hi,

I'm looking for a bottom seat cover for my S54 LHD. It's for the drivers' seat.

Mine is Ok but a little shiny, so I'm looking for a replacement part in a better condition.

My seat is grey/black, but as I'm just looking for the center part which is black, any seat cover will suit!

    Regards

They have no blue seat covers left but looks like you can still get the grey ones new from BMW - if you have £1k to spend!

I've already asked BMW Dave and it seems that they have only stock of kyalami/black, Phoenix/black and LSB/black

And yes, prices around 1k for all of them except for the Kyalami!

I've already done that, but it has not recovered a lot of matt finish. Every time I get into the car and take a look to the seat... So I think that I need to replace it

I've read that wiping them over in as-hot-as-you-can-handle water removes a lot of built-up material and can help restore a near OEM finish (as much as some of the specialist products do)

I don't understand why they don't replace the stocks but appears they aren't going to anytime soon.
