    I've got my original CD-changer controlling tape player - was wanting to keep it if I ever wanted to return it back to standard, not sure how much it's worth but may sell at the right price!

              My S54 has an OEM business CD player rather than a cassette player, you should look for one of those.

                if you enter your chassis number into realoem it will give you the part number for the original headunit fitted to your car,

                    Right ! I have looked into the car order details etc. It came with option number 658 - RADIO BMW BUSINESS CD RDS.

                    So I will be looking for one of those now, ha ha.

                      Ive still got my original cassette player from a 98 car,if our interested pm with a good offer and we can chat...it is in good working order,however my reason for changing it was quite simply i never changed the six cd's over so went for mp3 conectivity tons of songs now available..just a thought!

                          ive got most of my original parts cw...never that bothered about getting rid of them just trying to be helpfull mate..as mentioned i prefer the becker unit anyways..cd's rattling around the car..or anywhere..are apita!!!!

                            I was only messing I've still got my cd stacker in too, I need to get round to removing it as it's not been used for 5 years since I put my Becker in too.

                                Say that does CD change control also, would make sense as single cd headunit still doesn't really replace a 6 disc changer.
