Default Rear bumper buffers

There are small rubber buffers fitted to the rear bumper which act as a spacer and maintain a even gap between bumper and rear wing,

missing on this side

present on this side

They are available from dealers at £.64 each but only in packs of 10
(they are also fitted to the rear screen of the MC)

part number 51311925433 buffer

Nice find, I think I could use some of these at the front. Are there any buffers as well?

Amazing the things you you find on the parts list. Didn't realise these bits existed until you mentioned them. Just had a look on my latest acquistion, missing both sides. So I'd be interested in a couple, if you have any spare.

Me neither!

How are they affixed Dave? You sure they were there from new on UK cars?!

My car doesn't have these. The rear bumper has never been removed, gaps are perfect.

Are we sure these arn't just a "bodge" to force an even gap on one side?

Picked up a pack of these buffers from my local dealer and fitted to the missing side of bumper,

they are self adhesive so its not surprising they fall off over time.

I have 3 pairs spare if anyone wants some for £ 2.40 posted to UK per pair (which is roughly cost plus .90 postage) and will accept paypal or can be collected from Tatton BMW festival or Zfest for £1.50
