Default S50 RHD Cooling system
While attempting to replace the water pipes on my 1998 coupe it appears realoem and the dealers parts system is inaccurate for some of the parts for RHD coupes, so far I have managed to find all but one of the correct hoses which I have listed below.








part #10
Engine block metal pipe RHD 11531402571 (part number on realoem is incorrect)

PART #5 11531406462 RHD

PART #14 11531406463 RHD

PART #13 11531405200 RHD

PART #12 11531318404 RHD

The additional water pump fitted between the heater matrix and water valve details are not even listed for a M Coupe only the roadster,

PART #14 64212695759 RHD

PART #13 part number listed is incorrect and no part number is listed for RHD, part number on hose is 64212228656 but doesn't exist according to BMW ?

Thanks Tony, I am waiting to hear from BMW technical as to if they can supply the one missing hose so hopefully if anyone else comes to replace all the hoses the information will be at hand

Received a reply via my local dealer from BMW tech support regarding the one missing hose (#13 64212228656) and it appears this part doesn't exist on any BMW system anymore so they cant help!.

not sure but I don't think any model other than the S50 uses this type of secondary water pump.

If anyone can look at their own coupe (RHD S50) and check to see what part number is on the small hose that goes from the black additional water pump to the water valve assembly just to see if by chance its different to the one on mine (build 11/98)
