I've got a set of ACS Type III staggered on order identical to yours... Mind answering a few Q's for me about these pics:

Hi Kurt, welcome to the forum. You've obviously got impeccable taste, lol

I think the spacers are 7mm front, 10mm rear (but that's just from my dodgy memory).

Types are P Zero 235/40/18 and 285/30/18 (the rears are the wider of the 2 ACS recommended rear fitments, they also recommend a 265). The 285 offer a large amount of rim protection standing probably around 10mm proud.

I keep toying with buying another new set myself rather than getting these refurbed.

Thanks for the kind welcome... I'm just a lowly '98 2.8 Roady owner over in the states (same 'kojohns' on bimmerforums.com), but getting close finishing my "M" rear-end conversion and then moving to the more fun VF S/C install

I've been a huge fan of ACS aesthetics on the Z3 series for a long time. Here's what the roadster looked like last fall... once everything is mounted up, I'll have to post some new pics with the Type IIIs... 2nd pic is a mock-up ;-)

Thanks for the tire specs... they are exactly what I suspected you might be running in the rear... nice meaty-ness that I like ;-) I've got a new set of 245-35 and 285-30 mounted to some SSR GT3 18x8.5 and 18x10's ... but I just didn't care for the look and bit the bullet on what I really wanted... ACS Type III monoblocks.

SSR GT3s that'll be going up for sale after the ACS arrives:

Only felt the heat at less than idiot speed, lol. Yeah, around town it'd get a tad warm. I think the Akra helped reduce it though.

Yeah, the KTM is the best bike I've ever ridden - a great brand never scared of deviating from the norm (only let down by the fact that they drastically reduce model prices just after you've paid full-up for one, lol)

Kurt, great mockup. They'll look awesome!

Now what's with masking the face of your model with the top of the screen?

Ha! That's Mrs. Kurt :-) Pics were from a little convertible day trip we took last year to this beautiful spot in Arkansas, "Blanchard Springs Caverns":
