I've been cogitating on two extra jobs, one big, one small.
My boot floor and diff mount are in generally good shape, although the diff mount has a 2mm crack.
Has anyone done the Randy forbed style mod where you put a new diff casing on the back of the diff and use two diff mounting ears?
The ears can be bought from bmw and it's an E36 M3 diff casing
Another much smaller thing, was going to replace the prop shaft shock donut/guibo, not sure if completely necessary but now at 90k miles thought it might be a good idea, whar results have people had with doing this? That and grease the U/J's. All a bit hard to get to without removing the exhaust centre section.
Any advice or tips are appreciated.
I do have a powerflex diff mount which I could fit in situ without removing the diff, think the diff mount is pretty worn..... Subframe bushes supposedly replaced a few years ago.
