You'd think at some point they'd reduce the absurd price! Maybe they'll offer a 10th anniversary discount!

I reckon mine would smoke it performance-wise! It's got better specification parts and it's certainly not as painful on the eyes!

Herbert Hartge, eat your heart out mate, you should try the fokge version.....Yours for only £25K

Quite apart from the price, a "special version" really is only warranted where you don't already have the exclusivity the M Coupe has in spades.
And at this stage in the M Coupe's history, owners are even more concerned about originality than we were in the late 90s when the car arrived.

I agree CB though it is a drivers car and with some choice mods an iconic car can be made to handle better, look better, drive better while retaining its basic coolness..
Though if one was holding onto it merely for its worth and not driving it as its creators had intended then yeah, original is best

Know where you're coming from. My original blue one was certainly driven like the boffins intended. Not on every journey of course. And very well cared for by official dealers.

But my black one is treated like an old gentleman. And also being very well cared for by official dealers.

Something tells me that the Hartge engine would just rip the trans out of the back of that car :-) No?
