Default Squeaky Seat

The squeaky drivers seat , has been driving me mad , so after ordering and replacing the kebab inserts i thought id be happy . The first problem was the original seat bushes were not in bad condition at all but squashy rubber was not going to be as good as the new poly ones , so i carried on and finished the job . So on completion the squeaky noise is still there , now in am feeling its not the seat base but rather the seat back , so my question is is anyone having any similar squeaks and is there a fix ??? Thanks guys , Simon .

Mine has an intermittent squeak on the back, does drive you insane. If it's the same then it will happen when you push against the seat back. I haven't taken a look yet

Yeah thats it i have tried rocking the back and it gives the same sound , my local specialist says that they have an ex-Rolls Royce tech whos job it was to sort out any interior noises on customers cars so i may give that a whirl at the start of October so i will keep you posted on any results and fixes mnbrennan ..
