Looks good. It’s hard to tell from the photographs, is it new leather or just painting the existing leather?

I think I’m going to go for a full leather retrim in 2019. Anybody got any suggestions in the central Scotland area? I’ve seen Del at Optimus trimmers work and it looks very good.

Its under the renovations section rather than retrim so might be painting - looks really good whatever has been done

Is this the same company that Tim Shaw is always messing with on "car sausage"?

I used Transcal in livingston a few years ago after some fire damage and the seats still look great today. Weren't cheap from what I remember but insurance had just paid out and I had a distrust of small garages for a while so went with them.

Your seats look great Alan. Do you remember what the cost was?

I think it was around £1200. That was for the two seats with the "technosuede" centres, the seat shells and A pillar covers in "technosuede", door cards, and new handbrake and gearstick gators in suede.

That seems very reasonable for that standard of workmanship

It does look tremendous - just like new in fact.
I do have a slight issue with that though and as the cars are now 20 years old, I think that as with any car, or anything for that matter, removing all traces of patina is a step too far.
Obvs yours were in desperate need of saving though.

I recently got some Dr Leather and gave my seat a good going over. They look significantly better, much less shiny, but still lived in. They match the age of the car. There is some fairiy deep abrasion on the bolster that does need recolouring but beyond that, I don't think I'd do anything.

Yes, Bespoke Leathering is that company. I had my e34 M5 Touring leather dash recovered there by John and he did a superb job of it. I remember seeing the Black Coupe with Imola there, John had just finished it and it looked new!

                        Another company worth trying:
