  • Z3MC Rear Toe Out??

After fitting KWV3's,I have had the car corner weighted.
Problem is, this uncovered an issue....
    Rear right = toe in
    Rear left = toe out??

Wasn't the most pleasant track day...

Whats the best way to go to fix?

    Eccentric bushings?
VAC - Semi-Trailing Arm Rear Toe Adjustment Kit?
    New Trailing arm?

    Anyone else had this issue?

Not uncommon to bend trialing arms, I find the eccentirc bushes do not give enough adjustment the best option i have found is to slot the subframe.

they are from the US but a guy on the e30 zone makes them

I fitted those Ireland Engineering Camber/toe brackets some years ago, and can highly recommend this mod.

          Cheers Jason / Exdos.

Exdos, did you fit the eccentric style, or the 'posi-lock' style kit?

Heard rumours about the eccentric style coming loose.

I fitted the eccentric kit; that was the only one available at the time I fitted mine.

I think that the potential problem of the them coming loose is because you need to torque the nuts to a high figure (I forget the exact figure) and this is very hard to do, particularly on the outer brackets on the OS, since you can only use an open-ended spanner on the outer brackets because the subframe prevents you from getting a ring spanner onto the nuts. Likewise, undoing the OEM self-locking nuts is a nightmare!

It seems that the posi-lock brackets offer a greater range of adjustment.

              Hi

I spot welded the adjusters after I got them set up to stop them loosing.

                Hi Guys
Is it possible to fit the subframe plates so they can adjust the camber and toe, If 1 bracket is horizontal and the other verticle.

                Hope this makes sense

They've arrived and should be taking the subframe off this week..Might be a school boy question but what bolts do I use?

Ive looked on Ebay and £7 a bolt seems extreme considering I need 4????

any help or part numbers would be so helpful
