It's had some equivalents put on, but the brake hose come out at a 45 degree angle from the bottom, not out of the side. Hard to describe bit I think they're from the M3 not the Z3M

They will be from a E36 M3 which are identical except where the hose enters

the rear shocks will be pushing the brakes hoses out...your risking driving it like that...i know from experiences
Best way to check is to look under the car whilst it's sat on the ground (not in the air), this gives you an idea where the brake lines sit in relation to the damper/body/exhaust.
