I think they are all the same on the S50's but worth checking with your vin,

If its original they have quick release clamps on the fuel filter so much easier with the tool ?

Yes theyre original and have quite a bit of surface corrosion so I'm going to change them. I managed to get the return pipe brand new from ebay but I'm struggling to find the rear feed pipe, its NLA from BMW.
It looks like you have to squeeze the clip in towards the pipe to release it from the filter, similar to push fit plumbing fittings? Any links to the tool itself?

Doesnt appear to be any pictures of the fuel pipe online so difficult to see if one off another model would work? S52 or Z3 3.0 ?

Are the fuel tanks all the same, coupes and cabs? If they are then I dont see why I couldnt use one from a 2.8/3.0 cab

realoem will tell you if the tanks are the same - I think they are, fuel pump is different and maybe the filter arrangement

White clip that holds headlamp washer hose on S54 or late Z3's with washer bottle on bulkhead.
