  • Vanos cleaning tips

    I have been asked at some of the shows what I have used to clean metal parts of the S50 engine like the vanos and throttle body assembly so here you go -


    very expensive wire brush and nylon bristle brushes (sets are few quid off ebay or sold at Halfords I think)

    e.g







    Also a selection of scotch pads and foam finishing pads from trade decorating suppliers or ebay

        How do we go about booking cleaning/polishing slots with you at Silverstone Dave?

              I did a tentative half arsed attempt with autosol and a mop and the front of my vanos looked much better.

              Doing a proper job must make it look incredible.
