It looks a good buy, esp considering the mileage

Has this failed to sell at auction repeatedly?
Any members here know the car?

I know of the previous (or current owner if it's on some kind of sale or return). It was owned from new and when I saw it at around 11,000miles would say it was concours, as in like new.

Wouldn’t a nice low mileage example like this usually be best sold privately or buy a dealer ? I had a feeling cars that end up in auction are there for a reason (ie. some issue in terms of history, etc). Maybe just me being very cynical!

Maybe just somebody who can't afford to wait around for a sale.

Its been for sale at least a couple of dealers and recently at a auction, shame the market has cooled so much as this must be one of the best low mileage S50's left.

Prices have definitely dropped recently. I remember not long ago when cars with under 20k miles were £40,000+ and a black S50 at knights garage with bbs alloys was £50,000 and sold quickly. Think the classic car market has slowed given the amount of unsold lots at major auctions. A good time to be a buyer if you can find a bargain.

Agreed. Think you are spot on.

That low miler looks good value below £35 if it checks out.

It's not just the classic car market that's slowed... Who the hell would invest in anything with the state things are in this country at the moment

Buyers market but would think this car will be back for sale at a dealers next week although it would be good if it was going to an enthusiast. Not a good time to sell your M Coupe at the moment in my opinion

and there are others due to be auctioned with low miles in the next few weeks but as they are normally owned by dealers they just sell them and move on to the next opportunity.
