Not heard any feedback about these guys. Would also be very interested however to find out if anyone has any experience. A good M specialist up north would be an invaluable find.

As you say it would be great to find someone in the north who know's about these car's, there are several coupe's in or around manchester, so it might be a good option to use this garage.

had a exhaust fitted today by Darren and co and enjoyed service that you dont get at my local BMW dealers(i.e he knows what he's talking about) also there price per hour is very reasonable, will be using again both ex Blue Bell technicians.

Like Dave, I too had some work done by Darren and Mike today.

                      Two very nice chaps.

Certainly seem to know their onions.

Enthusiastic about BMWs and the work that they do.

                      Will certainly be going back.

Incidentally - had KW V1 setup fitted (courtesy of Ever88).
First impressions - a different animal - drives the way it should have done from the box.

                        Jon,

As you may have seen on a different thread, I am having difficulty assessing options for a damper upgrade - "I used to be indecisive but now am not so sure"!

How did you settle on KW V1s? Think they are essentially the same as V3s but non adjustable and 2/3rd of the price? Do they lower the car at all?

                        cheers,
                        ian

                          Hi Ian,

                          They settled upon me really.

Ever88 was getting rid of some bits and pieces from his former coupe and put them up on the forum.
Was after a set of coilovers and took a punt at a price which didn't break the bank.
It's early days I suppose but car felt more planted today, and I don't think I was just imagining it.

The V3 kit I am sure would be superior but am not sure I would get the most out of the adjustability.

I already had H&R ARBs on the car which may also be helping.

                          Hope this helps.

They do lower the car. 15mm minimum I think. Adjustable to lower should you desire.
