      Thanks, Dave.
Seem to be mixed opinions on covers.

Anyone used a cover and had any issues?

I’ve used an outside cover on another car, from eBay and about £45, in fairness it’s been really good and keeps the rain out. Think it’s better than leaving the car out unprotected.

i just purchased one this week and was put to the test yesterday and proved to do the job.its a good fit and totally water proof ,comes with 3 straps,it is from p.j.classic covers in teignmouth (£200) the last one i used was of my friends aston martin so was a poor fit and not totally water tite despite what he paid for it.they have several options on their website for m coupe, worth a look.

                Hi
I’ve used a specialised cover for the last couple of years after a recommendation.
No complaints. Breathes well so no damp stays underneath.
I keep it covered all the time (except when driving!) as it also protects the paint and seals fron UV damage

I’ve had troubles with an outside car cover on my ///M. The car started suffering from a small about of paint blistering. Now the car had had some paint freshened up so was it the paint or was it the cover, I don’t know....

From comments that I've read, it's probably the cover.
I will hold off from putting a cover on it. Shame I have to take her out of the garage but need to make space.

I believe you can still buy the BMW silver outdoor cover marketed for the Z3 Coupe for around £170.
