Great filming, I'd not seem that one.
I know what he means, but it's maybe strange to say "this was built to be driven"

I've not seen that one before either, just the one where Clarkson says that they're perfect (since removed from youtube by the mighty BBC Worldwide copyright team )

          That's a great find!

But just how soft is that standard suspension, even when new!!

It does tend to roll a bit. You wouldn't get that in a modern performance car

It was always flawed, but that's maybe part of the charm

From the information I have there were 8 Oxford Green UK M Coupes but only 2 with grey trim which from the video the dash looks to be grey not black, I have a vin number of LB29611 which is Oxford Green with grey trim and "press pack" option so this may be the same car.

I have a list of all the specs for RHD M Coupes and asked a BMW dealer what info they had on that vin number there are no details on the Government site for MOT history on the LCZ registration so may well be changed or written off etc

He had mine too, I did a Bedford track day around 2005, he was there and came up to me to say he drove my car (the previous owner before me was BMW UK) he asked to take it for a spin as he loves them and as I had been driving all day I let my mate sit in the passenger seat, set up the dash cam, but the F'ing tape run out just as he exited the pits.

Seeing him coming out of the last right hander before the the pits totally sideways was mental!!
