  • Z3M Coupe car cover

    With winter fast approaching I've been on the lookout for a good car cover to keep the car dust free over the winter months.

    Found this on German ebay....http://m.ebay.de/itm?itemId=400772179949

    The tight fit will let me enjoy the contours of the car without having to uncover it. Worked out at £140 including postage, I'll update once I have put it in the car.

      The cover arrived today, a very impressive 3 days from dispatch.

      I'll have a trial fit over the next week or so and post some pictures up.

        I've just ordered an BMW OEM Noah cover from the US -
        http://parts.bmwofsouthatlanta.com/p...110000323.html
        It's cost $130 plus $65 shipping (£120'ish total) plus maybe another £20-£25 in VAT to get it through HMCE.

              I bought one from Hamilton Classic, £171 inc postage. Appears to do what it's supposed to, so no comment on quality. My wife was a bit disappointed that it wasn't more tailored to the car shape, but I wasn't too concerned on that front. My main concern was that it appeared to be made of the same material as my previous cover, £50 from Halfords!

                Ta da !!!!

                I have to say for the money the cover is superb.

                I have left the exhaust pipes exposed, from the rear it's also quite impressive

                    Some of you will remember that we did a group buy on Raid steering wheels a while ago from http://www.carnewal.com/. Well the guy we dealt with there dropped me an email this morning saying that he's able to supply some Z3C indoor covers. His email below:

                    ===
                    As you might know, the car covers that we sell are made in Italy by the manufacturer of the OEM covers of Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, Lambo, AMG, F1 and so on.

                    It is without any doubt the best you can find on the market. These car covers are tailor made, have a logo on the hood, mirror pockets and come in a storage bag.

                    I was talking to the sales guy who said they have a stock of these covers for the Z3 in Navy blue. This where the normal lead time is 4-5 weeks as every cover is tailor made. (details below on those in stock and immediately available)

                    Do you think that there would be some interest from the UK / Z3 owners for doing a group buy ? They have them for coupe and roadster with BMW logo or //M logo.

                    The normal price is 235 euro vat included but would become far less when ordered in a larger quantity.

                    Over here, the Bimmerboard has done several group buys .

                    This is what is readily available for the Z3 coupe, all in Navy Blue, all indoor.

                    5x coupé normal version bmw logo
                    5x coupé m version m logo
                    5x roadster normal version with bmw logo
                    4x roadster m version m logo
                    ===

                    Anybody interested? Nothing in it for me, just passing on the opportunity. I think I'm going to bag one of the ///M logo coupe covers if there's enough of us interested to bring the costs down a way

                              I'll go back to him and see what price we can get based on that level of interest

                              Das930, I'm not sure if the non-Z3 covers you've listed will be included in the discount, but will ask the question.
