  • H&R Rear ARB Droplinks Fit

Do I have it right that you use the standard rear droplinks with the H&R ARB?

The H&R comes with a bolt with the threaded end going through the ARB and the shanked part going through the drop link by the looks.

The thing is, the bolt doesn't really go through the drop link I have, the threaded bit will if pushed on but the fatter shanked bit seems a no way.

Are they very tight to get on?

I think I might have the wrong droplinks, I have Meyle 33551135307. The holes are 6mm and 8mm.

I was thinking of ordering this Febi Bilstein one x2 but the holes are also 6mm and 8mm....

Anyway, in the meantime, on with the fun of remembering how the brake shoes fit :)

No bolts at the front as the ARB attaches to the droplink itself? they look like the correct rear bolts and BMW part numbers linked to the Meyle / febi part look correct?

I think they are just a tight fit?

Lube them up and push them through the rubber sleeveless ends off the car then bolt to the bar.

Did this myself recently. Pressed the bolts through using a clamp and double depth socket

                Thanks guys!

Lube 'em up and I'll go in with a press or vice!

Decided to check before I ended up cutting them off again!!!

As you can see, the car is getting there!

So bloomin busy at work and outside of work that it's a snails pace job!

Put the back axle back in on what felt like the hottest day of the year!

If you're going with a heavier than stock rear bar, beware of bending the tabs on the RTAs, or pulling the mount off the body itself...

                  I box 'em in!

I love that Randy still comes here. Shame we never met while I was over your way a few years ago!

I AM ASHAMED, that I don't visit more often.

Was that when I was getting over having the flu (you and sweetheart in Orlando)?
