Hi all,
Noticed as I turn on ignition now that there’s a lot of noise from the fan(s)in front of the radiator -more so as it spins up and not so much when it’s up to speed. Reverse happens when ignition is turned off.
Seem to be what looks like clips on two of the larger fan blades which look so clipped on that they’re not there accidentally but they’re in odd different positions with no obvious pattern. Can’t see that that wou,d get through the bonnet grills if it was detritus from the road.
No warning lights and no obvious overheating at the end of the commute today.
Sounds like it’s definitely in front of the radiator but there are two fans there. Anything to panic about before drivng it the long road to the mechanic of choice?
Cheers
