  • Z3M offset/eccentric front wishbone rear bush

Hi all pretty new to Z3m’s, recently picked up my first one. Drives ok but I’m used to a full track set up e46 m3!

Steering wheel doesn’t have a great feel to it as doesn’t feel that ‘direct’
    Should note it’s on Kw v2 & h&r arbs

I noticed the front wishbones are very similar/ same? As e36?
On my previous e36 track/drift car I have fit the eccentric offset bush to increase castor which has helped previously

Has anyone on here replaced that bush on the z3m with an offset one?

    Cheers

Swapping the front top mounts over can help give a little more negative camber which may help you get more of the feel you're looking for, and I believe a fairly popular mod is to swap the steering rack out for a non-M roadster version which has a smaller ratio

Having said all that, I generally just potter about on the roads in my MC, so there'll be people far better qualified to comment than me

    Congrats on your new toy!

      Thanks for the reply!

I’m going to be getting myself some gaz camber top mounts I think so swapping them over will be out the question. Thanks!
