  • Problem with Clutch

    Hey everyone,

first of all sorry for my bad skills in speaking/writing english i´m from germany. I turned this site cause a friend of mine got a problem with his Z3M coupe. Just like the headline says the clutch causes problems. Car is a 2002 S54B32 325 hp Z3M. So here´s the problem: The Clutch doesn´t work correctly. If you let come the coupling it already grabs 1-2 cm above the floor means it grabs way too early. I can almost exclude any part of the coupling system cause everything is renewed: complete clutch, dual mass flywheel, clutch slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder, Releaser-/bearing and we adjusted the bearing of the clutch pedal cause it was worn. Nothing changed. It sucks cause you can´t get the gears in correctly. It feels like the clutch doesn´t separate. Theres´s definitely no air in the pipes or cylinders. Did anyone have a problem like this before?

    Thanks previously

What doe the pedal feel like? Springy without resistance?

Did you bleed the system with the slave cylinder compressed? This can help bleed properly.
