Update,

Hair product didn't have much effect

left original, centre bleached, right ebay purchase just cleaned

I will try the bleach method again when the weather is better as it says UV light helps the process

I tried this with my brake fluid reservoir (also NLA) which get quite yellow on the S50 due to lack of heat shield on the exhaust side of the engine bay. Bagged it up in peroxide but it didn't really do anything as the yellowing is all the way through. I think it makes it brittle too.

Interesting video of how to get rid of yellowing on plastics using peroxide and uv light.

I had a go at this method but with poor results - will try again in the summer when there is hopefully more uv light
