  • Replica Roadstars

Been following a thread on ZRoadster.org on M Roadstars alloys that a Z3 owner had bought to fit to his roadster after converting to wide body spec and fitting spacers etc.
Later in the thread there was a mention of replica Roadstars which I said I never come across in all the years I've been on here. Seems they come in 18" x 8" size, not much good to a Z3 MC unless they did a deep dish version.
Anyone on here come across replica Roadstars?

I can't see them, the link doesn't appear to work for me. These have cropped up before, but like you say just "fronts". Would be great if someone made a staggered 18" set with a 10" rear.

Whilst I'm sure they're lovely, if I was to drop big money on some forged wheels I'd like them to look different from OEM.....Each to their own.

I really like the fact the fact they use the OEM design but in bigger and wider sizes but keep the original look, surely better than an off the shelf expensive wheel that you have start considering if they suit the car!

I take your point, but there are just so many sexy high end forged wheels out there that you just know would look the dogs before they go anywhere near the car.

I know I can't really talk about wheels though, I am the man who bought those Dotz Mugellos . In my defence, I needed some 18" wheels quickly to fit over the BBK while I waited for something nice.

Oh yes defo, on both points (especially the Mugellos ), but I think there are few wheels that work properly on the M Coupe. If it was a more modern styled Z4M or any other modern BMW, then a lot of the high end wheels look great, but IMO the Z3M Coupe is more sensitive to wheel design.

Seen a few for sale over the years but as said no good for M cars - Italian made wheels I think
