      • Replaced door speaker covers today, door card removal is well documented on the net but followed Ron Stygars details,

        • Two fixings need to be removed on cars with side airbags,

          one behind airbag warning cover and one behind mirror switch or blank

            • Door opener trim needs to slide forward and then be removed

              • then using a plastic trim removal tool the door card can be gently pulled away from the door

                door card is removed by gently lifting bottom and then up and free from upper rubber seal

                • unplug speakers and release mirror switch cable and door card is free

                  • speakers and grill removed with one screw and by sliding free

                      • replacing is helped by running a thin bead of washing up liquid allow the top seal

                        starting at the front push the door card into the rubber door seal channel and replace fixings removed

                          • Useful pics! I generally find it is worth having a supply of spare trim clips before embarking on this - I don't think I have ever got a door card off without breaking at least one clip...

                              One broke between both cards so not too bad, I did have some from when I replaced the rear boot trim HK surround .
