I found the M3 far nicer to drive WITH the sport button IMO

Have only driven one E46 M3 though so no idea if it was just that particular car or what...

Thanks also for the £250 compensation. (I thought is was a bit harsh over the British road bumps!).

Carbon black for me - I wanted sepang bronze but the dealer talked me out of it. Don't know why I listened. He said the car would depreciate too much. Doubt if it would have gone down any more than it has !

      Enjoy the festive period !
Hello Outrun, Carbon Black eh? I bet that looks nice, I haven't seen a Z4MC in that colour yet but I would have been very tempted to order mine in that colour if it had been available at the time.

Did you have the suspension re-aligned when you had the Eibach lowering springs fitted? I'm quite tempted to have those or the H & R set fitted next.

Oh and if you haven't done so get your specialist to remove the CDV it's a fantastic little mod.

That's pretty much my experience with the Z4MC, apart from making the DSC less sensitive it adds very little to the drive.
The throttle on the Z4MC is plenty responsive enough with sport mode off.

I tried the sport button again over the weekend. In town it makes things really difficult, but on a quick 'A' road it can be useful, you seem to get back on the gas coming out of a corner much quicker. On track it could be useful too, I think it just takes some getting used to. Normal day to day though it's useless.

Are you guys both running CSL's? Did you find once on the 19" rims it needs lowering, they look just a tad too high.

I think mine sit fine on the CSL's, it certainly doesn't appear to sit higher than with the standard wheels, but I suppose if it was half an inch lower it would sit perfect.
