  • Airbag warning light

Driving back from Silverstone meeting today my airbag warning light came on and wont now turn off, I haven't moved the seats so not sure why it should just come on while driving on the motorway? any ideas?

Could just be vibration Dave. It only needs a temporary break in the connection to set the light off and won't reset by itself. I've got a Peake code reader & reset tool if you want to borrow it?

Mine came on random, and wouldn't go off, it was the plastic ring behind airbag that needed replacing, sorted now

Dave , I assume you've already got the updated wiring fitted under the seat? Mine was a nuisance until I had that bit of wiring replaced.

I *think* it's 61129118122 but probably worth checking with the dealer. I've dropped a pm to a guy on zroadster.net who had it done by his dealer years ago to see if he can confirm the pt no on the invoice.

And to confirm, Robert T on zroadster.net had the replacement done in 2005 with pt no. 61126908853. Realoem says that this has been superseded with 61129118122

mine has just come on too (again!). It is very annoying. Heading for a service so will get it reset. Tends to come on when the car is up in the air for some reason (was having wheels balanced so up on jacks).
