                Any photos of these from underneath the car? Are these still available from the dealer or is there a aftermarket solution?

                  some pictures at the start of my journal. I think 2 of the 3 are still available from BMW but the Charcaol canister one is NLA . There were some after market ones being sold but these may have all been sold.

                    Mazza on ZOrg was selling S50 tank straps but I think they have now sold out and not sure he's doing any more.
                    I got one of the last sets when I did my underside rebuild with Zedshed.

                      I got a set from him aswell towards the end of last year. I also contacted him recently for the charcoal canister one and he had one left so I bought it. I think you can buy one out of the three from bmw

                        Tank strap foam strip 16111183070 25mmx100mm (11X used on all three straps) Expensive from BMW at £11 each - May be alternative part number which is cheaper from X5)
