  • Lights-on Buzzer gone AWOL

Not sure if I'm happy about this or not, but my "lights on" annoying buzzer warning is no longer working!

OK so it's bloody annoying and many people will probably want to know how I managed to lose it, but I know that without it it's only a matter of time before I leave the lights on and end up with a flat battery.

A search has not uncovered anyone else with this issue - any ideas anyone? Where does the buzzer itself live - maybe I need to check connections to it?

It's integrated deep within the instrument cluster circuit as far as I'm aware. I looked in to changing it but appears it's not possible.

Maybe worth checking the light switch - does the dimmer function still work?

Yes the dimmer still works. TBH if the OEM one has had it's day, I'll leave it and wire my own (hopefully more ear-friendly) buzzer instead - just needs to bridge the door switch & light feed, shouldn't be too difficult.
