  • Towing eye maintenance tip

Don't think my towing eye on the bumper has ever been used in the past. Came to use it over the weekend and the thread in the bumper was very rusty, which made screwing in the eye at the road side very difficult, especially late at night in the dark.
Well worth greasing up as part of a home maintenance regime. Likely everyone does this except me, but just in case!

Good tip and will only become apparent in times of need!

    Hope the car is ok!

              Yep, form over function.

Mine gets used fairly regularly - I've fabbed up a bracket for a rally plate using a towing eye which works quite well.
